Armenia’s soap production on the rise
Armenia’s soap production continues to grow, according to the latest statistics.
The soap production volumes increased by 67.3% in Armenia in January 2018 compared to the same period last year to stand at 18.4 tons, Panorama.am was informed from the National Statistical Service (NSS).
According to the NSS figures, some 11 tons of soap were produced in the country in January 2017.
The production of washing, cleansing and starching agents also grew by 2.2 times this year. Namely, a total of 205 tons of detergents, washing and starching agents were produced in January 2018 against the 93.7 tons produced in the same period of 2017.
