The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra to present Armenian composers' art in Hamburg
The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra will perform in Germany on March 28 at the Great Hall of the Elbphilharmonie, which is considered to be the most prestigious cultural project of the century. The Orchestra reports in a release, that Hamburg is the birthplace of the 19th-century German composer, pianist and conductor Johannes Brahms. Germans value and appreciate high-quality music. They know how to host and enjoy listening to the world's best musicians. So, the tickets for the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra Hamburg concert were sold out already in November 2017.
At the concert in Hamburg, the symphony orchestra will present Armenian composers' art under the direction of conductor Sergey Smbatyan. The audience will enjoy Aram Khachatryan's Symphony No.2 "The Bell Symphony" and Eduard Hayrapetyan's Cello Concerto No 4: soloist Narek Hakhnazaryan. Hayrapetyan's Cello Concerto No 4 is a worldwide premiere.
Composer Eduard Hayrapetyan mentions that the Armenian Symphony Orchestra always represents the works of contemporary Armenian composers both in Armenia and abroad. "Our cooperation with the Symphony Orchestra is very harmonic. They fully perceive my aesthetic perceptions, and this is very important. The orchestra always presents my creations with readiness. There is always positive atmosphere in the team. You feel relaxed while working with them, and you can fully express your desires, "-says Hayrapetyan.
The composer wrote his Cello Fourth Concerto for Narek Hakhnazaryan in 2017.
"Writing music for soloist for me means to represent his musical portrait, imagine the musician, his movements on the stage, penetrate into the logic of his feelings, and I feel great honor, responsibility and happiness that the Concert's world premiere will be in German land in Hamburg," says Eduard Hayrapetyan.
