Powerful cyclone to bring heavy rains, strong winds to Armenia tomorrow
The entire territory of Armenia will be hit by a powerful cyclone in the daytime of March 30, expected to bring heavy rains, thunderstorms and strong winds up to 15-20 m/s, the Meteorological Center of Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations told Panorama.am.
The rains will be especially abundant in Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Kotayk, Gegharkunik and Ararat regions, as well as in capital city Yerevan.
The rainy weather is expected to clear up starting from Saturday morning, with no precipitation forecast for the country on 1-2 April.
The air temperature will drop by 5-6 degrees on 30 March, growing as much on 1-2 April.
