Roads mostly passable in Armenia
Roadways are mostly passable in the territory of Armenia as of 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Panorama.am.
Rains and thunderstorm are expected in the whole country at night of March 31, in the daytime of April 3 and at night of April 4, with precipitations maintaining in Lori, Tavush, Syunik provinces and in Artsakh in the daytime of March 31 and in the daytime of April 4. On April 1-2, at night of 3 no precipitation is predicted.
According to the source, Sotk-Karvachar highway is difficult to pass. Snowfalls are reported on Saravan-Zanger road and in Jermuk town of Vayots Dzor region.
According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the General Department of the Republic of North Ossetia of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles, but there is an avalanche threat in the area.
