Shooting range named after April war hero Armenak Urfanyan opens at Yerevan basic school
A shooting range named after Armenak Urfanyan, an Armenian officer heroically fallen during the 2016 April war, opened at the yard of Nikolai Gogol Basic School No.35 in Yerevan, Armenia’s capital.
The hero’s mother, Hamst Urfanyan had the honor of opening the firing range, the Yerevan Municipality told Panorama.am.
The schoolchildren organized an event presenting the military path crossed by Armenak Urfanyan and his heroic deeds during the Four-Day April War unleashed by Azerbaijan.
The school students will have the opportunity to attend some parts of their military science classes in the shooting range, which will also be open for all those who want to enhance their shooting knowledge.
