Head coach of Armenia’s national football team resigns
Artur Petrosyan has quit as the head coach of Armenian national football team, the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) said.
Petrosyan announced his resignation at today’s meeting with the FFA President Ruben Hayrapetyan.
During the meeting they discussed the performances of the national squad, noting that the Armenian team has little time to prepare for the UEFA Nations League and stressing the need for changes.
Hayrapetyan and Petrosyan thanked each other for the joint work.
The new coach of the team will be named in next few days.
Artur Petrosyan was appointed as the head coach of Armenia’s national squad in 2016, replacing Varuzhan Sukiasyan.
