Bread, flour production declining in Armenia
In January-February 2018 Armenia produced 44 thousand 941.8 tons of bread which has declined by 2.4 percent to compare with the volume of bread production in the same period of 2017, the country's National Statistical Service informed in a release.
During the same period flour production also decreased by 14.7 percent making up 25 thousand 155.9 tons. The production volume of confectionery has increased by 15.2 percent making up 2. 380.2 tons, while pasta production volume rose by 14.5% percent.
According to the data provided by the NSS in January-February of this year the production of grains has increased by 1.9 percent, making up 154.9 tons produced in the republic.
