The fourth President of Armenia, Armen Sargsyan says assuming the post of Armenia’s leader is a tremendous responsibility before the country, its people and history.
“Today, I have the great honor of assuming the post of President of the Republic of Armenia. This is a huge responsibility before the country, people and history,” Mr Sargsyan said in his speech delivered after today’s swearing-in ceremony at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex.
He vowed to spare no effort to prove himself worthy of the confidence the Armenian National Assembly placed in him on March 2, as well as to justify the hopes which different layers of the Armenian society have put on him.
Armen Sargsyan stressed Armenia and the Armenian people stand next to Artsakh and will keep fighting for the Artsakh people’s inseparable rights.
