Armenia to host first-ever Blockchain Forum on April 22
Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, will host first-ever Armenian Blockchain Forum on April 22, promising to bring together blockchain experts from some 20 counties worldwide.
Armenian Blockchain Forum 2018 is an educational and information platform that connects market leaders, experts and entrepreneurs for exchanging best practices and creating optimal conditions for development of technology companies.
The forums is intended not only local, buts also foreign companies, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments, Emil Tarasyan told a news conference on Wednesday.
According to the official, Armenian Blockchain Forum consists of four parts featuring discussions on blockchain’s future, its impact on the developments in the world, cryptocurrency investments and ICO projects.
The event will also features 12 master classes for students and entrepreneurs making their first steps in the blockchain industry.
The deputy minister called on start-up teams not to miss the opportunity to take part in this unique event.
ECOS Managing Partner lya Goldberg noted they have succeeded in bringing together experts from different spheres no matter how difficult it was.
Roadshow will be organized for ICO companies for the first time as part of the forum, with 30 investment companies from 20 states – Armenia, US, Ireland, China, Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Canada, Hong Kong, and others – having confirmed their participation in it.
The overall capital of participating investors make up $10 billion. Top 15 startup teams carefully picked by experts will present their projects to the professional investors with overall capital amounting to $10 billion.
To provide the best output from the startups’ business efforts, their representatives will have an opportunity to both present their projects to the investors during the pitch-session and conduct private negotiations with specialized funds. The forum organizers also arranged gala dinner for VIPs and Investors as an additional networking opportunity.
