"Ararat to welcome you with a warm embrace" - Yerevan a major destination on May holidays
May holidays are pleasant addition and unique test for people on the eve of summer holidays, SUNMAG.ME online magazine writes, outlining the destinations where holidays are more accessible for Russian tourists.
Armenia's capital Yerevan is among the list of the cities, compiled by the magazine.
"Russians wishing to combine pleasant with useful while planning their vocational programs should visit Armenia with their internal passports, so no matter whether you have a foreign passport or not, Ararat is waiting for you with a warm embrace," the magazine opens its section devoted to Yerevan.
The source comes up with number of recommendations as where to visit in Yerevan. "As one of the ancient cities founded in the 8th century B.C., Yerevan is full of historic sites, including ancient cathedrals both in the downtown and outside of the city in the beautiful scenery of mountainous landscape."
The magazine also offers to visit Lake Sevan, Tatev Monastery, experience the balloon flight or taste delicious barbecue and Armenian cognac in Yerevan among other things.
