Vladimir Putin sends congratulatory message to Serzh Sargsyan
Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of being elected Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
"Your appointment to that responsible post testifies Your high political prestige and the broad support to the policy of reforms aimed at tackling the socio-economic issues Armenia faces," reads the statement in part.
It next expresses hope that Sargsyan's activity in the post of the prime minister will contribute to the friendly and allied relations between the two countries as well as promote the mutually beneficial integration processes in the Eurasian region.
Putin also reaffirms his readiness to jointly work on current issues of bilateral and regional agenda.
