Police: 43 protesters detained in Yerevan
Some 43 opposition activists have been taken to different police departments in Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, as of 1 p.m. local time on Saturday, the Information and Public Relations Department of the Armenian Police told Panorama.am.

Mass demonstrations led by opposition MP Nikol Pashinayn resumed in Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, on Saturday morning, protesting against ex-president Serzh Sargsyan’s nomination and election as the country’s prime minister.
PM Sargsyan called for an urgent political dialogue earlier on Saturday “to avoid irreversible losses”, but his proposal was rejected by MP Pashinayn, who says he is ready to discuss only the "terms of Serzh Sargsyan's dismissal".
