Philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan: Armenian nation has very clear, bright future
Armenian entrepreneur and philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan visited today Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex in Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, to pay tribute to the memory of innocent victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide.
He attached importance to the fact that April 24 – the Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day – is marked in the way for 103 years already.
“We should always keep this memory alive, move forward and be optimistic,” Vardanyan told reports at the Armenian Genocide Memorial.
Reflecting on the recent inter-political developments in Armenia, the businessman expressed the hope that the country’s situation will really open up an opportunity to change something for the better not only in Armenia, but also outside its borders.
“The Diaspora and Armenia are closely connected with each other, and I believe the Armenian nation has a very clear and bright future, if we realize that together we have a very hard and long-term work to do that will require strength from us,” he stressed.
