Armenian president meets with Serzh Sargsyan and Karen Karapetyan
President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian continues consultations aimed at reducing the inter-political tensions in the country and finding solutions.
As the press department at the President’s Office reported, after meeting with the opposition leader Nikol Pashinyan, President Sarkissian met today with the Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and Deputy Chairman Karen Karapetyan.
As the release reads, the meetings were held in a constructive atmosphere. The president expressed hope for an acceptable solution based on cooperative efforts.
“The president welcomes the meeting of Catholicos of All Armenians with Nikol Pashinyan. He also encourages efforts by all political forces, non-governmental organizations and individuals aimed at reaching logical and reasonable settlement of the situation.” the release said.
