Nikol Pashinyan - the only candidate nominated for the post of Armenia’s Prime Minister
The Head of Yelk fraction at Armenia’s National Assembly, leader of “My Step” movement MP Nikol Pashinyan is the only candidate for the post of Armenia’s prime minister, as the time for nominating other candidates from political fractions at the parliament expired at 18:00 Yerevan time.
As the press department at the National Assembly reported, Pashinyan’s candidacy was nominated today by Yelk fraction in accordance with Part 2 of Article 149 of the RA Constitution.
To note, the parliament is set to vote on the election of prime minister tomorrow.
