Yelk, Tsarukyan factions hold a meeting at parliament
The meeting of the representatives from Yelk opposition faction and Tsarukyan Alliance, the second largest parliamentary fraction at Armenia’s National Assembly, has kicked off at the parliament.
Protest leader Nikol Pashinyan, who heads Yelk faction, and MP Ararat Mirzoyan attended the meeting, Panorama.am reports.
Gagik Tsarukyan, Chairman of Tsarukyan Alliance, was not present at the meeting held behind closed doors.
Earlier on Monday Yelk opposition faction nominated ‘people’s candidate’ Nikol Pashinyan as the country’s next prime minister.
