State Revenue Committee urges protesters to not block the entry of trucks into Armenia
Armenia’s State Revenue Committee voices concern over the recorded cases of blocking the entry of trucks - especially loaded with footf - into the territory of the Republic of Armenia as a mean of political action.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the government-affiliated agency points to cases when trucks drive in reverse without even crossing the Armenian border, adding the occurred situation obstructs the trucks’ entry into Armenia and relevant customs procedures which are full of serious consequences to the state food security.
The committee calls on protest participants to not obstruct the crossing of the trucks pf the Armenian border and the custom procedures, considering the need of ensuring the country’s food security.
