Soap production on the rise in Armenia
Soap production volumes grew by 31.1% in Armenia in January-March 2018. According to the figures released by the National Statistical Service (NSS) of Armenia, some 88.5 tons of soap were produced in the country in the indicated period. The volumes produced during the same period last year stood at 67.5 tones.
The production of washing, cleansing and starching agents declined by 3.8% this year. Namely, a total of 741.4 tons of detergents, washing and starching agents were produced in the first three months of 2018 against 770.8 tons produced in the same period of 2017.
