NSS: 0.3% price drop recorded in Armenia's consumer market in April
Consumer prices in Armenia dropped by 0.3% in April, compared with April 2018, the country's National Statistical Service (NSS) reported, adding the rise is mainly conditioned with the 0.3 % price decline of food products and non-alcoholic beverages.
According to the newly released data, for the indicated period food price (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and tobacco) decreased by 0.1%, while non-food products and services secured 0.2% and 0.4% increase respectively.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) stood at 102.4%, in April this year, 101.7% for food products, 105.1% - for non-food products and 101.7% - for services, the NSS reported.
