Armenia’s brandy production down in first quarter of 2018
The brandy production volumes dropped in Armenia in the first three months of 2018, according to the figures released by the National Statistical Service (NSS).
As the NSS told Panorama.am, a total of 6,346,500 liters of brandy were produced in Armenia in the first quarter of the ongoing year, down by 10.9% from the 7,123,800 liters produced in same period last year.
In 2017, Armenia produced 30,010,600 liters of brandy, an increase of 39.4% over 2016, when some 21,529,200 liters of brandy were produced. In 2015, Armenia’s brandy production volumes stood at 16,947,600 liters, a drop of 9.4% from 2014.
