President Sarkissian holds farewell meeting with outgoing Japanese ambassador
President Armen Sarkissian of Armenia received today the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Eiji Taguchi who is concluding his diplomatic mission in the country.
The Armenian leader thanked Ambassador Taguchi – the first resident Ambassador of Japan – for his contribution to the development of the Armenian-Japanese relations and efficient work during his tenure, the presidential press office reported.
The officials exchanged views on the deepening of cultural ties and enhanced cooperation in the areas of high and precise technologies.
Ambassador Taguchi noted that he would always be Armenia’s and Armenian people’s friend.
