Armenian analyst says reactions to Trump’s decision to quit Iran nuclear deal ‘were not unanimous’
U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal has not been accepted unanimously both in Washington and Tehran, Armen Israyelyan, an expert on Iran, said in a post on Facebook.
“If before the nuclear deal the political forces both in Iran and the United States generally shared a close position, the situation is different now,” he wrote.
According to the expert, it is remarkable that opponents to the current U.S. regime spoke against Trump’s decision, while the opponents of the Iranian authorities supported it.
“Moreover, some from Iran’s political and military circles were even delighted with the U.S. decision,” he noted.
