PM Pashinyan meets with EEC Chairman Tigran Sargsyan in Sochi
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia on Monday held a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Tigran Sargsyan on the sidelines of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council session in Sochi, Russia.
The tête-à-tête between the two officials addressed the agenda of the upcoming Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) summit, the government’s press service told Panorama.am.
The two official discussed other issues related to further development of cooperation within the EAEU and expansion of relations between the member states of the organization.
The Armenian delegation led by PM Pashinyan is in Sochi to attend the regular meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council – the EAEU’s highest supranational body.
Pashinyan is also expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the visit.
The EAEU countries are Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
