Weather update: Air temperature expected to grow in Armenia in next few days
Rains and thunderstorms are forecast mostly for Armenia’s northern regions from 16 to 19 May, with rainy weather expected to grip most regions on 20-21 May, the Meteorological Center at the Emergencies Ministry told Panorama.am.
Wind speed may reach up to 15-20 m/s during thunderstorms, with hail possible in separate places.
Southwest wind speed is 3-8 m/s.
The air temperature is expected to increase by 3-4 degrees from 17 to 20 May.
In the Armenian capital, Yerevan, rains with thunderstorm are possible in separate spots starting from the afternoon on 16-19 May. The entire city will be hit by rains and thunderstorm from 20 to 21 May.
