Davit Ananyan named new Chairman of State Revenue Committee
Vardan Harutyunyan has been dismissed from the position of the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) upon his own resignation, with Davit Ananyan, a former deputy finance minister, set to take his place, according to a government decision adopted at today’s session.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, chairing the session, said that Vardan Harutyunyan voiced his intension to submit resignation at a meeting with him on Wednesday.
“We have decided by mutual consent that this decision will be adopted at today’s Cabinet session,” Pashinyan said, naming Davit Ananyan the new Chairman of the State Revenue Committee.
PM Pashinyan thanked Harutyunyan for his activities as the head of the committee and congratulated the new SRC chairman.
In his turn, Vardan Harutyunyan thanked the PM for accepting his resignation. “I want to once again congratulate the new government staff, wishing them good luck,” he said, expressing readiness to support the government in implementing any program.
