Viktor Uzur appointed as a jury member of the 14th Khachaturian International Competition
International Competitions Prizewinner, soloist, chamber musician Viktor Uzur is appointed as a jury member of the 14th Competition. Viktor Uzur has appeared in many countries of Europe, Asia, North America and South America.
As the press service at the Competition reports, Uzur has been an artist in residence at festivals in Austria, Spain, Italy, France, Russia, Canada, Korea, China, Latvia, Brazil, United States and the former Yugoslavia.
He is a prize winner and a diploma recipient at competitions such as the Yugoslavian National Solo Competition, Sarajevo, Jeuness Musicales International Competition, Belgrade and XI International Competition Tchaikovsky, Moscow.
To note, the 14th Khachaturian International Competition will be held in Yerevan from June 6 to 14, 2018. The deadline for the applications have been extended till May 15.
The competition is aimed at identifying talented young musicians in " solo cello or cello and piano (orchestra) specialty. The Aram Khachaturian International Competition is a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions.
