Defense, foreign ministers visit Armenia-Azerbaijan border
Armenia’s Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan and Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Friday paid a visit to the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, Tigran Balayan, a spokesman for the foreign ministry, tweeted.
Defense Ministry Spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan released the details of the visit, sharing some images on his Facebook page.
“By getting familiarized with the tactical situation on the spot, the two ministers discussed the specifics of the border service with the command staff of the military unit,” he said.
“Minister Tonoyan tasked the command staff to constantly demonstrate vigilance, not to give in to any provocation, but to strictly prevent any advancement of the adversary,” Hovhannisyan added.
