Internal procedures for CEPA ratification fully performed – MFA spokesperson
The timeline for ratification of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) has not been changed as a result of Armenia’s inter-political developments, Spokesperson at ministry of foreign affairs Tigran Balayan told reporters on Tuesday at a briefing in Yerevan.
In Balayan’s words, the agreement has been completely ratified by Armenia, and all internal procedures are over. “The timeline indicated for partial implementation [of CEPA provisions] has not been changed,” Balayan stressed.
“We look forward to seeing the parliaments of EU member states to ratify the document as we are set to launch the full implementation of that very important tool,” added Balayan.
