Speaker Babloyan conveys birthday congratulations to Charles Aznavour
Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Ara Babloyan sent a congratulatory message to the world - famous singer Charles Aznavour on his 94th birth anniversary.
“Thanks to your performing unique art and about eight hundred authored songs you have your special place in the world song art long ago. At the same time, you have created a school with very peculiar songs and so close to the audience’s heart, genuinely earning the title ‘great chanson.’,” read the message in part.
In Babloyan words people like Aznavour’s songs in Armenia, follow with joy his creative and stage successes, and they are proud of him.
“The huge work done through ‘Aznavour to Armenia’ after Spitak earthquake fund is invaluable. And the song ‘For You Armenia’ became a new and specific hymn of mercifulness in the whole world. Dear Maestro, I wish you health, happiness, creative endless energy and all the best,” the congratulatory message concluded.
