Russia to continue playing active role in NK settlement – Zakharova
Russian will continue playing an active role in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated on Wednesday at a briefing.
Asked whether Russia is set to play the first fiddle in the NK conflict settlement, Zakharova noted: “Russia has always played an active role. There is no desire to play the first fiddle in terms of numbers. There is desire to bring the conflict settlement closer through civilized and effecient means. We have played an active role and continue doing so in close interaction with the sides.”
