Armenia weather: Showers, thunderstorms expected over next few days
Meteorologists forecast scattered showers and thunderstorms for Armenia’s separate regions after the daytime and in the first half of the night of 28 May, with rainy weather expected to grip most regions on 29-31 May and 1 June.
During the thunderstorms wind speed may reach up to 15-20 m/s, with hail possible in separate places, the Meteorological Center of Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations told Panorama.am.
Southwest wind speed is 3-8 m/s. The air temperature is expected to drop by 4-5 degrees on 29-30 May.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are also expected in some parts of Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, in the evening hours of 28 May to continue into 29-31 May and 1 June.
Yerevan will see an air temperature of +28-+30 degrees on Monday afternoon.
