Armenian PM Pashinyan, Georgian President Margvelashvili meet in Tbilisi
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, who is paying official visit to Georgia, met today with Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili. As the government press service reports, the interlocutors highlighted the results of the talks between the delegations of the two countries, stressing the issues discussed and the initiatives outlined during the negotiations will give impetus to the further development and expansion of bilateral relations.
“I am happy to meet with Armenia’s democratic Prime Minister. I hope your visit will breathe a new life into the century-long relations between Armenia and Georgia,” the President of Georgia noted at the meeting.
PM Pashinyan, in turn, expressed satisfaction over the opportunity to discuss the development prospects between the two countries.
“I am happy my visit to Georgia comes in the wake of democratic changes underway in our country. I am confident, democracy plays a vital role for our states. The belief of our peoples in bilateral relations is guided by sympathy and solidarity and we will spare no effort in giving a new impetus to them,” The PM said.
