PM Pashinyan in Georgia, to meet with country’s leadership, Armenian community reps
Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday departed for Tbilisi, Georgia, on a two-day official visit.
During his trip, PM Pashinyan is due to hold meetings with Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, parliament Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze, and Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.
He will lay a wreath at the memorial in the Heroes Square and pay tribute, the prime minister’s office told Panorama.am.
Pashinyan is also scheduled to meet with the representatives of the Armenian community in Tbilisi and visit the “Hovhannes Tumanyan House” Scientific-Cultural Center.
As part of the two-day visit, the Armenian PM will attend the events celebrating the centennial of the First Republic of Armenia.
He is also expected to visit Javakheti, Ninotsminda and Akhalkalaki to meet with the local Armenian community representatives.
