Armenia’s former finance minister gets a new job
Armenia’s former Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan has landed a new job at an Armenian mining giant.
He has been appointed Vice Chairman of Vallex Group, a big mining company in Armenia.
Russian-Armenian businessman Valeri Mejlumyan is the Chairman of the company which operates several copper mines across the country.
The former minister’s spokesperson Lusine Mkrtchyan has also confirmed the news on Aramyan’s appointment to Panorama.am.
To note, Vardan Aramyan was appointed as Finance Minister in September 2016. Prior to that, he served as First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armenian President’s Office.
