Poroshenko appoints ambassador to Armenia
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has appointed ambassador of Ukraine to Armenia more than three years after the retirement of the previous ambassador. Ivan Kukhta. The relevant decrees have been posted on the president’s website, Ukrinform news agency reported.
In particular, Petro Lytvyn has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Armenia.
To note, Lieutenant General Petro Lytvyn has been the Commander of the 8th Army Corps since 2012. His elder brother Vladimir Lytvyn has been the Speaker the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
To remind, the post of the Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia has been vacant for more than three years.
