Russian pranksters, impersonating Nikol Pashinyan, tricked OSCE Secretary General
Two Russian pranksters Alexei Stolyarov and Vladimir Kuznetsov have tricked the Secretary General of the OSCE Thomas Greminger. As the Russian Vesti 24 news channel reports, in a telephone conversation Thomas Greminger congratulated the interlocutor, who pretended to be the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on assuming the post.
During the conversation, the OSCE Secretary General expresses readiness to support the reforms implemented in Armenia, specifically welcoming the PM’s plans to initiate amendments into the Electoral Code of the country.
On behalf of Pashinyan the pranksters also ask the OSCE Secretary General about reasons for non-implementation of the Minsk agreements on settlement the conflict in Donbass. Thomas Greminger refers to lack of political will to reach a political progress over the issue.
To remind, last month the pranksters enjoyed an 18-minute phone call with UK foreign secretary Boris Johnson again posing as the prime minister of Armenia. They talked about ways to deal with Vladimir Putin and the Britain’s response to the poisoning of Sergei Skripal in Salisbury.
