National Assembly adopted Annual Report on Execution of the State Budget for 2017
The National Assembly of Armenia approved the Annual Report on Execution of the State Budget for 2017 with 65 in favor and 23 against votes. The second largest fraction at the parliament “Tsarukyan” alliance voted against.
According to official data, the forecast for economic growth was 3.2% for 2017, yet it was exceeded, and 7.5% economic growth was recorded. Exports grew by 25.6%, imports increased by 22.1%.
The budget revenue program amounted to 1 561 billion AMD, 27,3% of which was allocated to the implementation of social programs.
The RA state budget for 2017 was executed with a deficit of about AMD 240 billion that was financed at the expense of internal and external sources ․
As the finance minister said, the foreign public debt totaled to AMD 6,775 billion at the end of 2017.
