PM attends World Cup Gala Concert in Moscow
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended a gala concert with famous opera singers celebrating the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup, the government press service said Wednesday.
According to the source, Russian President Vladimir Putin and heads of number of states were present at the event. The concert is a prelude to the FIFA World Cup that kicks off today when Russia takes on Saudi Arabia in the opening match at the 81,000-seat Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
The program included Russian music and famous works of Western European classical repertoires. To note, World Cup will be held at 12 stadiums in 11 cities across the country. The teams are set to play in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don and Yekaterinburg.
