PM Pashinyan, VTB Bank head discuss expansion of bank’s activity in Armenia
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is in the Russia on a working visit, had working breakfast with Andrey Kostin, President and Chairman of the Russian VTB Bank’s Management Board.
Pashinyan appreciated VTB Bank’s presence on the financial market of Armenia and its active investment activity in various sectors of the economy, the prime minister’s office reported.
Introducing his government’s priorities for the development of Armenia’s business environment and economy, the prime minister stressed the need for the banking sector, including VTB Bank, to respond adequately to business sector developments in Armenia.
The sides discussed ways of expanding VTB Bank’s activity in different sectors of the Armenian economy.
