Polish archaeologists to resume excavations in Metsamor
Armenian “Center of Protection of Historical Environment and Cultural Museum-Reservations” NCSO affiliated with the ministry of culture continues cooperation with international structures. As the NCSO reported, within the framework of the contract signed between NCSO and Warsaw’s institute of Archaeology, Armenian and Polish archaeologists will continue implement excavations in the territory of Metsamor archaeological site.
The cooperation that started in 2012, implies not only archeological works in the territory of the historical-archeological museum reserve, but also a range scientific-education projects, research, joint publications, improvement of material-technical base of the research center as well as exhibitions.
