No meeting of Armenian, Azeri presidents planned in Moscow – Kremlin
There is no meeting scheduled to take place between Armenian President Armen Sarkissian and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Izvestia Russian news agency reports, citing Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
According to the source, Peskov stressed that such a meeting is not planned since the Armenian president will not visit Moscow.
Aliyev paid a working visit to Moscow on 12 June to attend the opening ceremony of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
To note, the last meeting between the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents was held in Geneva in the fall of 2017.
