Russia’s Putin introduces Pashinyan, Aliyev to each other
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with each other in Moscow, Russia, at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Tigran Balayan, a spokesman of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry, said in a Facebook post.
In a livestream on Facebook on Thursday, Pashinyan said the Russian leader introduced him and Aliyev to each other during a small reception in the format of CIS leaders held after the opening match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
“We simply said hello. No other conversation or discussion followed,” the prime minister said.
