Kremlin: Early to talk about further Pashinyan-Aliyev meetings
The meeting held between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Moscow was their first encounter, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, adding that it is still early to talk about their further meetings, reports citing RIA Novosti.
“It is still early to talk about further contacts or continuation,” he said, commenting on the question over the possibility of holding a bilateral or trilateral meeting between them in the near future.
Russian President Vladimir Putin introduced Pashinyan and Aliyev to each other at a small reception in the format of CIS leaders held after the opening match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
No further conversation between them followed, Pashinyan said in a livestream on Facebook.
