Gazprom Armenia cuts gas price for low-income families
Gazprom Armenia has announced its decision to reduce gas tariffs for Armenia’s low-income families.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the company says from 1 August 2018 to 1 August 2019 the socially vulnerable families consuming up to 600 cubic meters of natural gas annually are set to pay AMD 80 per cubic meter instead of the current AMD 100.
Thus, the company will sell the natural gas to low-income families at a 20 percent lower price than set by Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission.
