Armenia’s ice cream, curd and yogurt output grows in Jan-April
Armenia saw a sharp increase in the production of ice cream, curd and yogurt from January to April 2018, according to the latest statistics.
A total of 2 245.4 thousand liters of ice cream were produced in the country in the reporting period, up by 30.1% from the same period last year, the National Statistical Service told Panorama.am.
Meanwhile, Armenia’s curd output volumes recorded an increase of 58.8% this year. A total of 450.5 tons of curd were produced in the country during the first four months of 2018, while the production stood at 283.7 tons in the same period of 2017.
Yogurt production also grew by 24.3% in Armenia amounting to 2 291.7 tons from January to April 2018.
