Armenian FM raises the issue of Belarusian arms sales to Azerbaijan
Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has raised the issues of Belarusian arms sales to Azerbaijan in a meeting with Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimer Makey held in Minsk.
“Partner states should refrain from steps that may endanger the relevant atmosphere, promote arm race in the region, and disrupt the regular works of the agreed negotiations format,” Mnatsakanyan stated, as reported by the press service of the foreign ministry.
Speaking of the Nagorno Karabakh issues, Minister Mnatsakanyan stressed that an atmosphere conductive for peace is key to the efficient settlement process.
To remind, on June 11 Azerbaijan demonstrated its first Polonez multiple rocket launch systems purchased from Belarus.
