Classical music festival expected to bring hundreds of tourists to Armenia
Armenia International Music Festival scheduled to be held from 2 to 6 July is expected to bring more than 200 tourists from different corners of the world to Armenia.
The organizers of the festival have spared no effort to attract those interested in cultural and music tourism to the country, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra’s press service told Panorama.am.
“To that end, we have presented both the Armenia International Music Festival, its world-famous soloists and concert programs, but also Armenia and its capital Yerevan to classical music lovers across the world,” the orchestra said.
Noting that the music tourism enjoys great interest worldwide, the symphony orchestra meantime states classical music festivals are especially popular among the intellectual segment of the society.
“The guests of the Armenia festival will not only attend the concerts, but also familiarize themselves with Armenia’s attractions and its historical and cultural features, taking with them a piece of Armenia,” the statement says.
The Armenia International Music Festival is organized by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and the European Foundation for Support of Culture in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture.
