Carpet production increased in Armenia
Carpet production increased by 2.3 times in Armenia in January-May 2018 as compared to the production volumes in the same period of the previous year, according to the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (NSS).
According to the source, 10.6 tons of carpets and carpet coverings have been produced in the republic in January-May this year, while 4.6 tons of carpets and carpet coverings have been produced in the republic in 2017.
To note, the carpet production levels constituted mostly a decrease in 2017, yet recorded increase per annum.
