Armenian parliament passes all bills on the agenda
The Armenian National Assembly passed in the second reading all the bills taken up for consideration at today’s session and announced about taking a one-month vacation.
The lawmakers voted 68 to 1 against with 2 abstentions to adopted the bill proposing to grant amnesty to some 150,000 drivers for unpaid fines and penalties.
The parliament also overwhelmingly backed the draft law on making amendments to the law on the whistleblowing system, as well as on making supplements to the Armenian Civil Procedure Code.
The MPs passed the bill proposing supplements and amendments to the law on military service and status of soldiers with 78 votes for and 1 against.
At the end of today’s session, Speaker Ara Babloyan announced the parliament is taking a 30-day vacation, thanking the lawmakers for the joint work.
