‘Allez les Bleus’: Mkhitaryan congratulates France on World Cup win
Armenian national football team and Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has congratulated France on winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup for the second time.
"Recognize me?! Throwback ‘98, Allez les Bleus. Congratulations to the World Champions!” the Armenian international wrote on Facebook, sharing a photo of himself which shows the footballer’s face painted in the colors of the French flag back in 1998, when the country became a world champion for the first time.
France beat Croatia 4-2 at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium on Sunday.
